How do I reduce injector contamination when running the UPLC amino acid total solution? - WKB117451

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Reduce or eliminate fouling of injection needle and injector loop.

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC 
• Amino acid analysis
• AccQ•Tag Ultra
• Injector loop
• Injection needle

PROCEDURE

1. Each time you refresh the washes, you should replace all containers for the seal washes and strong and weak needle wash with new, clean containers and fresh solvent.  Do not reuse the container or top off the liquid in the container.
2. Weak needle wash should be remade in a clean container every five days.
3. Seal wash and strong needle wash should be remade and placed in clean containers every two weeks.
