Would Waters recommend the Torus DEA column with a 1.7-µm particle or the Anionic Polar Pesticide column with a 5-µm particle for analysis of glyphosate on an ACQUITY system? - WKB98745

Article number: 98745

ENVIRONMENT

  • Anionic Polar Pesticide column
  • Torus DEA

ANSWER

The Anionic Polar Pesticide column would most likely be the best choice.

The 1.7 µm will give better resolution, but the 5 µm column will give better sensitivity. You may also need sensitivity for glyphosate analysis on micro. The 5 µm also provides enough resolution and separation between critical pairs and sensitivity.
