Will the AccQ-Tag Ultra Derivatization Reagent or the AccQ-Fluor Reagent react with any cell culture media components when analyzing the amino acid content of cell culture? - WKB64205
Article number: 64205

- AccQ-Tag Ultra
- AccQ-Tag
- AccQ-Fluor
- Amino Acid Analysis
- Cell Culture
- derivatize
ANSWER
These reagents react with:
1. Any molecule that contains a primary or secondary amine.
2. Water, to form AMQ (6-aminoquinolone). This is seen as the "AMQ" peak in AccQ.Tag Ultra and AccQ.Tag.
3. AMQ to form a dimer of AMQ which is bis-aminoquinonline urea. This is the "derivatization peak" seen in AccQ.Tag Ultra Method.
4. Molecules which contain alcohol groups, at a slower rate then primary and secondary amines.
