OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Clean the column stationary phase.

PROCEDURE
- Remove any used/fouled guard column prior to cleaning.
- Column cleaning flushes are done for 20 column volumes of HPLC-grade solvent.
- If more polar samples were injected, the cleaning solvents would be water, methanol, THF, methanol, water, and mobile phase.
- If more nonpolar samples were injected, the cleaning solvents would be IPA (or IPA:water mix), THF, DCM, hexane, IPA, and mobile phase.
