How do I clean my XBridge BEH C18 column? - WKB53642

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Clean the column stationary phase.

PROCEDURE

1. Remove any used/fouled guard column prior to cleaning.
2. Column cleaning flushes are done for 20 column volumes of HPLC-grade solvent.
3. If more polar samples were injected, the cleaning solvents would be water, methanol, THF, methanol, water, and mobile phase.
4. If more nonpolar samples were injected, the cleaning solvents would be IPA (or IPA:water mix), THF, DCM, hexane, IPA, and mobile phase.
