BioResolve SEC mAb columns address challenge of separating monomer from fragments - WKB110376
Article number: 110376
SYMPTOMS
- Poor resolution between the monomer and the fragments in SEC analysis
ENVIRONMENT
- SEC analysis
- BioResolve SEC mAb columns
- UPLC
- UHPLC
- HPLC
CAUSE
The prevalence of the secondary interaction with the currently used BEH SEC column leads to poor resolution of the monomer and the fragments.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- The recently launched BioResolve SEC mAb columns can address this challenge. The columns are designed specifically to help generate reliable mAb aggregate, monomer, and fragment separation with accurate quantification.
- Refined manufacturing processes and QC testing of every packed column help ensure that every column performs out of the box for this challenging analysis. Each column is QC tested with a NIST-based mAb size variant standard to help ensure column-to-column consistency when used on UPLC, UHPLC, or HPLC.
- This is a preconditioned column.
- The column was developed to accommodate optional use of a cost-effective BioResolve mAb Guard to increase analytical column lifetime without degrading necessary mAb component resolution and quantitation.
