ANSWER

Yes, but it can build up and should be used at very low concentrations—no greater than 0.2 millimolar. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It can also form hazardous hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas at high temperatures.

The use of Ammonium Fluoride can decrease the lifetime of columns made with Silica, including hybrid particles that contain Silica.
