3D - Cyclic IMS Ion Optics

A 3D model of the Cyclic IMS optics for training and education.

This model contains animations. Each scene lasts 5s which gives you time to pause it at each of the scenes.

• Scene 1 - The optics shown complete and in true relative positions
• Scene 2 - As 1, but with the elements slid apart along the beam direction so that you can zoom in on individual elements
• Scene 3 - As 2, but with the side of each element removed. This is equivalent to a sectioned view
• Scene 4 - As 3, but with the relative positions restored

The model can either be viewed here in this page (nested or full screen) or downloaded to run in your own viewer. The format is .glb with compression. Windows cannot natively open this file type.
