SYMPTOMS

• Inconsistent injection volumes on 2767 Sample Manager

CAUSE

Maximum recovery HPLC vials were used and sample probe was touching bottom of vial, causing blockage.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Adjust the Z depth for the sample vial.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To adjust the needle depth into the sample vial, go to Inlet Method editor > Waters2767 > Bed Layout > Modify Bed Layout.

Select each sample rack in turn and adjust the Z height (each value = 1/10 mm). To increase the depth into the vial, increase the value.
