Assign a different plate for each tray in MassLynx.

PROCEDURE

1. Go to Inlet Method, click ACQUITY autosampler and then plate generator.
2. Create the appropriate plate, and then save.
3. Go to Inlet Method, click ACQUITY autosampler and then bed layout.
4. Click edit plate on layout.
5. Position the pointer on one of the two plate beds—the one on top is Tray 1, the bottom is Tray 2.
6. Click on one of the trays and select the desired plates.
7. Save the inlet method. You should now see two trays with different plates.
