UPLC BSM pressure fluctuates above 10k psi - WKB193457

SYMPTOMS

• Pressure fluctuates when above 10k psi
• Leak test failure when performing with pressure above 10k psi
• Successful leak test when performing with pressure below 10k psi

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC BSM

CAUSE

Etched pump heads and seal wash housing

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the pump head (700002595).
2. Replace the seal wash housing (700002597).
3. Perform the leak test at 14,000 psi. 
4. Check pressure above 10,000 psi.
