On an H-Class TUV QDa system, the QDa randomly fails to acquire signal after injection - WKB96187
Article number: 96187
SYMPTOMS
-
On an H-Class_TUV_QDa chromatography system controlled by Empower 3, after clicking Injection, the TUV detector starts to acquire signals, but the QDa randomly fails to acquire signals, and there is no spectrum acquired in the QDa channel
ENVIRONMENT
- H-Class
- TUV
- QDa
- Empower 3
CAUSE
QSM configuration has been changed. The D path of QSM had an amplification valve installed, but the customer removed it. Although channels A and B were used in the gradient method, channel D was not used; this may randomly cause the QDa to fail to acquire signals.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Delete the QSM module in the instrument method, and then add the QSM again. (When performing injection again, the QDa properly acquired signals. No problem occurred during our observation period.)
