SYMPTOMS
- Cannot acquire
- Sometimes there is an MS error in the console
- Sometimes there is a leak detected in the MS console, but none of the instruments have a flashing red LED
ENVIRONMENT
- All Xevo mass spectrometers
- All Synapt G2 type mass spectrometers
- SQD2
CAUSE
The tubing was not tightened enough.
There is a blockage in the tubing.
FIX or WORKAROUND

The leak is on the LC line to the divert valve or the line out of the divert valve to the probe.

If the tubing continues to pop out and leak, replace the tubing.
