Error "QDa state unknown" in Empower - WKB50695

SYMPTOMS

  • "QDa state unknown" appears in the QDa Control Panel in Run Samples, as well as in the ACQUITY console
  • It is not possible to put the QDa in Operate mode or Standby modeclipboard_e652b654d507ccf11ba08e67ccc3f83ed.png

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3 Network
  • Windows 7
  • ACQUITY H-Class system with a QDa Detector

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Log out and close Empower.

  2. Switch off all of the modules.

  3. Reboot the LAC/E.

  4. Wait until the LAC/E completely reboots.

  5. Switch on all of the UPLC modules.

  6. Switch on the QDa.

  7. Wait until the source pressure test completes.

  8. Log in to Empower and verify that the status is "Ready".
