Error "QDa state unknown" in Empower - WKB50695

SYMPTOMS
- "QDa state unknown" appears in the QDa Control Panel in Run Samples, as well as in the ACQUITY console
- It is not possible to put the QDa in Operate mode or Standby mode
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 Network
- Empower 3 workstation
- Windows 7
- ACQUITY H-Class system
- ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
CAUSE
Unknown
FIX or WORKAROUND

Log out and close Empower.

Switch off all of the modules.

Reboot the LAC/E or workstation

Wait until the LAC/E or workstation completely reboots.

Switch on all of the UPLC modules.
-
Switch on the QDa.
-
Wait until the source pressure test completes.
-
Log in to Empower and verify that the status is "Ready".
