Poor mass accuracy on Xevo G2-S - WKB4904

SYMPTOMS

• Calibration setup completes successfully, but mass accuracy is poor
• No information about calibration in Experimental Record
• Poor mass accuracy on ToF data
• Poor mass accuracy on IMS data, but great mass accuracy on ToF data on Synapt MS
• Experiment file shows that no calibration information is properly applied to acquired data.
• Calibration file is observed to be loaded as per the MS tune page and the Intellistart console

CAUSE

Calibration profile name contains spaces or special characters.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reinstall MassLynx.
