Cannot pump down Xevo G2 after cleaning the cone - WKB31427

SYMPTOMS

• Unable to pump down the system after cleaning the cone.
• System pumps down with the isolation valve closed.
• Lower cone bracket is not flush with the ion block.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• Xevo G2
• SYNAPT G2-Si

CAUSE

Missing one of the four Belleville spring washers found inside the lower cone bracket.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Install the four Belleville spring washers (700003080 for Belleville spring washers, 10 pk).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Pay attention to the orientation of the washers as they are curved. To illustrate how they should be arranged, imagine the washers are parentheses. Now arrange them in this manner: ( ) ( )
