"Source door is open" message followed by low desolvation gas flow error and "fluidics valve set to waste" message on a Xevo TQD - WKB293862

SYMPTOMS

• "Source door is open" error message on the Xevo TQD even with the door closed
• Error message is followed by low desolvation gas flow error and "fluidics valve set to waste" message
• Opening and closing the source door does not resolve the issue
• FOUND: Swapping the source door with that of another Xevo TQD results in the error moving to the other Xevo TQD
• FOUND: Leaving the source doors as is and swapping the ESI probes results in the error being cleared on both systems

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQD

CAUSE

Unknown. Possibly an issue of reseating the ESI probes.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reseat the source enclosure on the Xevo TQD and reseat the ESI probe on the probe adjuster assembly.
