• No beam on Vion IMS QTof
• Stepwave RF reads back 0

CAUSE

Short on the Stepwave

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Using a DVM, check for continuity on the connection points of the side of the stepwave PCB.
2. Check for continuity between the connection points and ground.
3. Remove the Stepwave and clean.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If cleaning does not fix the short, replace the Stepwave (700010968).
