Communication with EPC or ADC is intermittent - WKB28228

SYMPTOMS

• The system communication is intermittently lost and the system requires several restart attempts to reestablish communication.
• Network diagnostics between PC and EPC can be established (Telnet EPC works). 
• Sonar upgrade not successful, if applicable.
• May be unable to communicate with the ADC Lite PCB, (see below).
• Copy of error seen on the restart script captured from Hyperterminal application:

• ADC PCB shows LEDs status OK on front panel during full electronics restart as per technical reference sheet 715003767.

• Xevo G2-XS
• MassLynx

CAUSE

Unknown. Probable fault during the loading of MassLynx or the setup of the acquisition host PC.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Re-image the Workstation.
2. Install MassLynx.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

MS instrument is controlled successfully with different PC. Able to see all of board with the right firmware versions (for example, in the case of a SONAR upgrade: Lens Control PCB firmware version "W" or later, and ADC firmware version "I" or later).
