How to replace the pinch valve assembly on an ACQUITY RDa Detector - WKB266678

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Replace the pinch valve assembly (part 700011173) on an ACQUITY RDa Detector.

Switch the ACQUITY RDa Detector into power safe mode.
Locate the pinch valve assembly on the lower-left of the instrument.
If necessary, loosen and remove the source exhaust tubing.
Using a hex wrench, unscrew and remove the old pinch valve assembly
Put the new pinch valve assembly in place and carefully/equally tighten the screws. If the screws are not tightened equally or are over-tightened, the seal (indicated with red arrow below) may become damaged.
Attach the source exhaust tubing.
Switch on the ACQUITY RDa Detector and make sure the instrument does not report source pressure test failures or nitrogen failure, which can indicate a leaking pinch valve assembly.
