"General failure: Only 1 out of 2 pumps responded" on ACQUITY M-Class - WKB249384

SYMPTOMS

• When attempting to trigger an acquisition on the ACQUITY M-Class, the error "General failure: Only 1 out of 2 pumps responded" appears in the console
• No other ACQUITY ICSs installed
• A power cycle does not correct the issue

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY M-Class 
• SCIEX OS Support Layer v1.2.1

CAUSE

Faulty or corrupted inlet method

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Delete the AcquitySettings.xml file found at C:\Program Files (x86) \ Water Instruments \ Settings
2. Restart the PC
3. Create a new inlet method from scratch.
