SYMPTOMS

• Unstable or no beam from either the ESI (sample) probe or the reference (LockSpray) probe

• SYNAPT G2-Si
• SYNAPT XS

CAUSE

Either the fluidics wash solvent is empty or the PEEK lines are not fully submerged.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Make up fresh wash solvent.
2. Submerge the PEEK lines.
3. Purge fluidics.
4. Confirm flow to both probes.
