Fluidics setup error stops acquisition - WKB237102

SYMPTOMS

• No errors show on initial instrument setup
• System gives fluidics setup error between injections
• Can reset error only by rerunning entire instrument setup for Vion
• Can sometimes reset on next injection with other instruments

ENVIRONMENT

• Vion
• UNIFI 1.9.4
• Vion driver 2.0
• Waters Connect
• Xevo G3 QToF
• Xevo G2-XS QTof

CAUSE

Fluidics are slow to infuse lockspray, causing system check to fail.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Upgrade to the latest Vion driver version.
2. Adjust the acquisition test failure option customer method to "continue with lockmass" instead of stopping the acquisition. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This can now occur with auto lokspray in later drivers for the Xevo QToFs in Waters Connect
