ADC setup fails on Vion IMS at Starting Ion Area setup for channel A - WKB207214

SYMPTOMS

• Instrument Setup hangs at ADC Setup: Starting Ion Area setup for Positive polarity, channel A
  
• If the setup is aborted the mass range goes from 0-1 m/z
• An electronic reboot and factory restore gets the system to the point where instrument setup can be attempted again, but it fails at the same spot
• The system has a beautiful beam in all modes, yet still fails ADC setup

ENVIRONMENT

• Vion IMS

CAUSE

No flow on the fluidics.

Instrument setup does not start the fluidics for ADC setup

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Start the LockSpray pump infusing with the baffle in reference position
2. Once there is a beam start instrument setup
