Cannot see MS TIC data in MassLynx - WKB20516

SYMPTOMS

• System injects with no errors
• PDA and Lockspray traces are visible, but the MS trace for the sample is a flat line
• Infusion from both the lockspray sprayer and the sample sprayer from MS fluidics shows signal

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1 SCN 884
• Xevo G2-S Tof
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class

CAUSE

The MS method's Method Events table is not properly defined. In this case, there is an entry listing the Sample start at the Initial Condition and the Event is set to Flow State, but the Action column is blank.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Ensure that the LC is selected for Action in the Method Events table for the Sample sprayer, as shown below:
