Calibration fails with "Peaks too Strong" error - WKB203405

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot calibrate Xevo G2-XS
• "Peak intensity too strong" error

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

Calibrating (in Negative mode) with sodium iodide, the lower mass peaks are very intense compared with the higher masses.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Switch to Manual Quad Profile.
2. Adjust the Quad Profile to increase the intensity of the higher mass peaks relative to the lower masses.
3. Repeat the calibration.
4. Switch back to Auto profile if desired.
