No communication with the GC and the Aux temperature does not reach the set point when using APGC - WKB19930

SYMPTOMS

• No communication with the GC
• The heated transfer line (HTL) or Aux temperature does not reach the set point (short by 25-40 °C)
• No IP address on the GC (checked by selecting Communication > Options key > Enter - on the GC keyboard)

ENVIRONMENT

• APGC
• A8890
• A7890
• MassLynx 4.1
• APGC connected through the Ethernet switch on the ACQUITY

CAUSE

No IP address assigned to the GC.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reboot the ACQUITY and verify that an IP address populates for the GC.
