SYMPTOMS

• Mass error measurement on m/z 152 (acetaminophen) during system precision test on "6 mix" solution fails at more than 50 ppm

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-S QTof
• Xevo G2-S Tof

CAUSE

Very high laboratory temperature owing to issue with room temperature control

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Ensure that the lab temperature meets requirements (<28 °C, short-term (1.5 h) variation < +/- 2 °C).
2. Recalibrate the system.
3. Rerun the precision test.
