MS diverter valve does not switch to waste - WKB1041

SYMPTOMS

• The diverter valve is scheduled to turn to waste at X minutes, but it does not

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• Xevo MS (quads and QTofs)
• SYNAPT G2
• SYNAPT G2-S
• SYNAPT G2-Si

CAUSE

The diverter valve is being asked to switch at the end of the run time. That is, the run time = the time when the diverter valve is being asked to move. The run is over, so the software performs no more actions.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change the run time to a point later than the diverter valve switch time (e.g., run time = X.1 minutes and the divert time = X minutes).
