SYMPTOMS

• The mobile phase/solvent in the bottle runs out or decreases quickly even though it’s not flowing

ENVIRONMENT

• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

GPV (gradient proportioning valve) inlet/outlet tubing is loose and leaking

FIX or WORKAROUND

Tighten the screws (red ● in the figure below) of each tube on the gradient proportioning valve.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To access the GPV, open the right hand panel on the solvent manager and gently pull out the solvent tray to inspect the connections.
