ANSWER

- It seems that the solvent filter (the filter attached to the end of the tube going into the solvent bottle) is often removed during cleaning and subsequent measurements.
- There is no fixed grade of nitric acid, but it seems that the First grade or Special grade is ideal.
- For cleaning with water after cleaning with nitric acid, confirm that it has become neutral with Litmus paper.
