Liquid on top of vials and carousels in sample compartment of 2695 Separations Module - WKB96838

SYMPTOMS

• Needle wash solvent  leaking into sample compartment
• Leak observed after injections and needle wash prime
• Liquid on top of vials and carousels

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module

CAUSE

The yellow needle wash waste line is kinked, blocked, or submerged in liquid waste.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Pull the yellow needle wash line out of liquid waste.
2. Smooth out any kinks.
3. If necessary, replace or shorten the needle wash waste line (WAT077040). 
4. Verify that needle wash prime works.
