ACQUITY tubing cannot be cut by a regular tubing cutter that is typically used to cut standard HPLC tubing. The internal diameter of ACQUITY tubing is too small to allow cutting by normal means. The bore will collapse, and the cut surface will not be smooth enough to maintain the system's normal performance. Tubing must be purchased in a pre-cut configuration for the location.
