SYMPTOMS

• PM performed; all diagnostic leak tests pass
• Passing injector linearity and wavelength accuracy test
• Detector linearity test failure
• Detector linearity response checked; peak height outside detector's linear range as measured 3.1 AU with 0.22 mg/mL concentration
  • Recommended detector peak heights:
    • < 2.0 AU for 2996/2998
    • < 2.5 AU for the 2487/2489

CAUSE

Alliance system incorrectly configured for 100-µL syringe

FIX or WORKAROUND

Configure 250-µL syringe.
