ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager: SQT Injector Linearity Failed - WKB8292

SYMPTOMS

• Injector linearity failed with lower than expected R2 Values. Injection Accuracy Pass.

  • System Precision test passes with 0.3% area RSD.

• Maintenance performed.

• System primed thoroughly, no air bubbles.

• All leak test diagnostics pass. Air sensor calibration successful.

• Characterization of the needle and loop volumes are repeatable with reproducible results.

CAUSE

Poor sample loop fitting installation creating a dead volume at inject valve port positions 1 and 4.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace sample loop, 430001326 for the LOOP, SAMPLE, 10 uL, STANDARD.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Following the sample loop replacement, system precision additionally improved to 0.1% area RSD.
