ACQUITY BSM is unavailable in the Console and in Empower Run Samples - WKB8192

SYMPTOMS

  • ACQUITY BSM is unavailable in the Console and in the Empower Run Samples screen 
  • Restarting BSM does not resolve the issue
  • DHCP shows IP, MAC address, Type and Name
  • IP address pings properly

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY BSM (binary solvent manager)
  • Driver Pack 4 (DP4)
  • Empower 3

CAUSE

Unknown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Close out of Empower Run samples and ACQUITY Console.
  2. Run the StopACQUITYProcesses.cmd (C:\Empower\Instruments\Bin).
  3. Relaunch Console.
