SYMPTOMS
Flow does not stop when error message "Flow stopped" appears on MS Console due to nitrogen supply failure.
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
- Alliance HPLC System
CAUSE
Stop flow event is configured as "ignore", disabling the stop flow terminals (on the I/O connector).
FIX or WORKAROUND
- From "Configuration" in screen key, press Enter to display "Stop flow" in "Event in".
- Change from Ignore to Low.
- Verify functionality. If the flow is not turned off, try High instead.
