VRTX Task Error when powering-up Alliance 2695 - WKB7706

SYMPTOMS

  • VRTX Task Error appears on the Alliance 2695 LCD shortly after powering-on the instrument.

ENVIRONMENT

  • 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Unknown. Possibly due to full memory buffer.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. After powering-up the 2695, listen for the three successive beeps.
  2. Immediately after the beeps, press the "Clear" button on the keypad, and then press the "8" button on the keypad.
  3. The LCD shows a message telling you to power cycle the instrument.
