"Preparing for injection" message while running a sample set in Empower - WKB76346

SYMPTOMS

• Sample set stuck on "Preparing for injection" while performing single injection
• After disabling one detector from the instrument method, "Preparing for injection" message does not go away

CAUSE

The modules included in the chromatographic system do not match the modules used in the instrument method.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Create a separate chromatographic system within Empower that includes only the modules used in the instrument method.
2. If you have a separate chromatographic system, use the system that matches the instrument method.
