SYMPTOMS
- During prime and purge, there is a steady stream of solvent coming from the column inlet tubing
- New seal pack seals
ENVIRONMENT
- Alliance HPLC System
- 2695 Separations Module
CAUSE
Failure of high pressure valve 1 and high pressure valve 2
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Rebuild high pressure valve 1 (WAT045424) and high pressure valve 2 (WAT045424).
- Prime and purge with 100% methanol to ensure that issue is resolved.
- Run compression check.
