FTN sample Heater Cooler unable to cool under 12°c - WKB70156

SYMPTOMS

• Sample Manager FTN is not able to cool under 15°C

• Ambient temperature is above 22°c, around 30°C

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Bio
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class PLUS Bio
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS

CAUSE

The lab temperature was 30°C, above specification for cooling to 10°C or 4°C

FIX or WORKAROUND

1.For ambient temperature above 21°C the Sample Manager FTN cools at 19°C below ambient temperature

2.For the Sample Manager UPLC SM, SM cools below 17 °C below ambient temperature
