Alliance 2695 Error: "Restriction missing" when running the adjust seals calibration - WKB6157

SYMPTOMS
- Error message on the 2695 LCD screen states "restriction missing" when performing adjust seals procedure or compression check.
ENVIRONMENT
- Alliance HPLC System
- 2695 Separations Module
CAUSE
High pressure and additional restriction (>2000 psi @ 1 mL/min) may cause this test to take longer and result in a "restrictor missing" error message.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Change the component responsible for high system pressure; column, pin plug, or restrictor tubing.
- Adjust until you achieve a system pressure of less than 2000 psi when running at 1 ml/min. The bracket that holds the Optical Switch might need adjustment. There should be a gap of 5/16" between the top of the bracket and the injection tower.
