Error "Stop flow from remote host" with QDa detector - WKB6115

SYMPTOMS

• Stop flow from remote host error in the Console
• No signal when running samples
• Reboot does not resolve
• Nitrogen supply is sufficient

ENVIRONMENT

• QDa detector 
• Performance style
• Classic ACQUITY

CAUSE

Bad capillary probe

No readback on cone voltage

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the probe (700009642 - ESI Probe Assy, 500mm x 100µm, ACQUITY).
2. Open the Tune page (available only under Service mode).
3. Switch from negative to positive mode and then back to negative mode.
4. Cone voltage now reads a value.
