SYMPTOMS
- Retention time initially shifts to a longer retention time than expected after refreshing solvents and repriming the pump.
- Retention time gradually reverts back to expected retention time after several days and then remains constant until the solvents are refreshed again.

Air within pump
FIX or WORKAROUND
Prime all lines with IPA or methanol for 3 minutes, and then reprime with mobile phases.
