OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Resolve the "Sample Fluidics High Pressure Limit" error on a nanoACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager.

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY Console
• nanoACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager

PROCEDURE

1. Run the Control > Prime Syringes routine. If it passes, proceed to step 3. If it fails, continue with step 2.
2. Replace the injector valve pod (700002907).
3. Replace the sample needle (700002708).
4. Prime wash solvents and the sample syringe for at least three cycles.
5. Calibrate the X, Y, and Zp positions.
6. Calibrate the needle z-axis position.
7. Calibrate the needle seal.
8. Calibrate needle and loop volumes.
9. Perform the sample syringe and wash syringe leak tests.
10. Test the system with a known standard.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The "Sample Fluidics High Pressure Limit" error may be resolved by replacing the injector valve pod only, if the sample needle is not damaged and passes calibrations after the injector valve pod is replaced.
