SYMPTOMS

Blockage in valve of ACQUITY CM-A.    

ENVIRONMENT

ACQUITY Column Manager - Active (CM-A)

CAUSE

Unknown.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Disconnect all lines from the valve.
2. Take the line coming from the ACQUITY Sample Manager to Port #1 on the CM-A valve.
3. Set the column position to 1 in the software.
4. Back flush solvent through the valve. (Solvent will come out the center inlet port).
5. Repeat procedure for all column positions.
