SYMPTOMS

• Error: Pump A (CO₂) primary temperature range error (5.8 C)
• Primary prechiller is out of tolerance (1.5-5 C)
• High delta pressure on 100% CO2

ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE

The prechiller for primary pump A (CO₂) is unable to maintain temperature tolerance of 1.5-5 C due to low CO₂ inlet pressure (less than 720 psi).

FIX or WORKAROUND

Investigate the CO₂ source pressure (requirement is ~60 bar or 850 psi).

• If the source is a tank, replace the CO₂ tank with a full tank.
• If source is in-house supply from bulk, check the pressure setting on the regulator or bulk source.
