2475 display reads 80000 and will not clear - WKB48224

SYMPTOMS

• Front panel display reads 80000 emission units
• Rebooting the unit does not resolve the issue
• No peaks are observed

ENVIRONMENT

• 2475 Multi-Wavelength Fluorescence Detector 
• Empower 3

CAUSE

Unit has not been normalized in a long time.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Flush with 100% freshly degassed HPLC-grade water.
2. Normalize.
3. Calibrate.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When using emission units, normalization should be performed monthly.
