SYMPTOMS
- UPLC column module control box does not work with Empower 2 client/server
ENVIRONMENT
- UPLC FTN/FL autosampler-based systems, including Bio and Plus series (1.71 firmware on modules)
- Empower 2, Empower 3
- Citrix
- 30 cm column heater/cooler
CAUSE
Requires minimum Empower 3 base and latest hotfix and DP 2018 R1. Connected modules need 1.71 firmware or higher.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Must have Empower 3 base and the latest hotfix and DP 2018 R1 installed. Firmware should be 1.71 or higher. These are the minimum requirements on a LAC/E or standalone.
