ACQUITY UPLC error in Run Samples: Column Manager injection count exceeds warning level - WKB4629

SYMPTOMS

• Error observed in Run Samples window: "Column Manager injection count exceeds warning level"
• Maintenance counters in console software do not exceed the number of cycles on the valve

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager (Firmware version 1.40.69)
• Instrument Control Software DP4 (CM ICS 1.60.2076)

CAUSE

Corruption in the ACQUITY Column Manager server processes

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the Column Manager Instrument Control Software (ICS).
2. Power-cycle the computer.
3. Reinstall the Column Manager ICS.
4. Power-cycle the computer.
5. Establish communications to the Column Manager device to confirm functionality.
