SYMPTOMS
- Status light is flashing green
- Lamp light steady green
- No errors
- Message Center shows "Lamp Confidence Failure"
- Lamp recently replaced
ENVIRONMENT
- 2996 PDA Detector
CAUSE
Unknown. Could be due to an air bubble occurring when running the start-up diagnostics.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Flush the flow cell with clean solvent, no additives.
- Ensure that solvent is coming out of the outlet of the 2996.
- Power-off the 2996.
- Wait five minutes.
- Power-on the 2996 while solvent is still flowing to the detector.
